her and you’ll find she won’t eat into your bankroll. That’s because women
have been proved to be more successful gamblers than men. Researchers at Nottingham University compared men and women’s betting
patterns. They discovered that women won more than men. When it comes to
gambling it seems testosterone is a sure loser. It makes men more reckless
and inclined to take more risks. So how can you improve your chances of
winning without resorting to surgery? It pays to be cautious. The researchers at Nottingham University found that men tend to opt
for long shots. In contrast women are more careful. They stick to safer, low
risk, more profitable bets. You can do the same. Before you gamble compare
the profitability of different bets. Look for those that offer you the
biggest benefit. Knowledge is power. Men may act like they know what they’re doing at the gaming tables
but it’s actually the women who are far better educated about gambling. Men
tend to take the attitude that they know everything there is to know about
gambling. Most learnt to bet by watching family, friends and other gamblers.
The problem with this grounding in the games is that they pick up bad betting
practises. Women educate themselves before playing. They read books about
gambling. They are more enquiring wanting to understand all aspects of the
